: I am looking for former members of the TI Electronics School Drill Team.
: I was a member during 1950. We had a fairly good photographer that tagged along taking pictures. I have scanned copies if any one is interested.

: Barrett Shiff

I was a member of the "TOON" in 1965-66 TOON name "Gaymaker" (don't ask). We marched in several parades up and down the Central Valley while I was there. The most memorable were Walnut Creek (my hometown) and as the color guard in Admiral Nimitz' funeral. I graduated from "ET A" school in April of 1965 and I am sorry to say that before I was transferred, the TOON was disbanded for reasons unknown. The "members" of the TOON at the time all got to take their parade gear, their parade piece and one trophy when they left. I still have all of mine. Since my parents lived in the area I also got the HERO'S chair, the "Duty Ditty" and a copy of the maneuver manual butt bangs and all. I was labeled the official archivist for the TOON. Still have the "Ditty" but unfortunately the chair is gone. I guess I didn't do my job too well. Would love to hear more on this thread. "Ten Hut"
