Hi Marc: I too went to ET-A School from Dec. 1967 thru Oct. 1968. Went from there to Mare Island Vallejo for KY-8 Crypto School, and then....... on to the good old Dennis J Buckley (DD-808). Small world, huh? Came on board 10 January 1969 when she was at San Diego NavSta 32nd st., outside the USS Piedmont at Pier 2. Stayed with the DJB until her decommissioning last week of July 1973 when I got fully discharged from the Navy. Didn't really enjoy the Navy life back then, but now that I've been able to 'digest life', I look back fondly. Do you know of any foto's that give the basic layout of Treasure island back in the 60's?
