I lived on T.I. From around 1965-1969 I have many fond memories there. When I was
there our school was actually an old navy barracks and then they started "integrating"
us to San Fransico that was a trying time. I remember swimming at the pool, the
movies, the commissary. going and buying my parents cigarettes at the Px etc. Some
names that come to me are Jayne causland and,Bucky Lane, Raymond, Debbie
sweet,we lived in the new housing then at 1410 gateview ct. the Indians lived on
Alcatraz when I was there. I remember them trying to canoe to our island and the navy
wrecking their boats.
