I was stationed at SCTV in 1968 until 1970 when I was transferred to
Mare Island. The TV station and closed circuit TV in general was in a
decline when I left there. Rumour was that the new CO of School's
Command didn't care much for TV as a classroom tool.
I remember you, Velia, as well as James "Pat" Patterson, Danny
Chauvan, Penny, our secretary, Jerry Pearsall, and others who's names
escape me at the moment.
Treasure Island was one of my favorite duty stations and I have a lot
of fond memories of my time there.
