I remember the basement of bldg 1 very well. I was an RM1 assigned to the Oceanographic Unit in 1963-65. Ended my Navy career aboard USS
Nimitz in 1978.....Adm Nimitz was living on Goat island when I was at Treasure Island......Fond memories!
