: I was a Marine and attended the Naval Electronics School in 1952. I had leave enroute from San Diego and spent it getting pneumonia by walking around SF in the winter rains. My first week on TI was in the sick bay.
: I remember being on guard duty one night in a building somewhere on the west shore. The view of SF was just beautiful.
: I was recalling my time there in a personal history message to a long-lost cousin and found this site through researching TI with Google. I was happy to read about the Museum and hope it can be re-opened.
: Good luck.
Bob, I think you may have been in the Electronics school with my father SHELDON NEMWAN, and went on to the Signal School Battalion in SD and then to MCAS Cherry Point, NC. If so, can you contact me - my dad passed away a number of years ago and I'm interested in his service days. Thanks. Jeff Newman
