: USMC Brig Guard 1961-1962 Hi George I was also a Brig Guard at
Treasure Island. I was stationed there when the Cuban Crisis started, I made Corporal, and thought for sure they would keep me in. I was in the Corp from 1958-1962, was discharged in Sept. My other three years,
was a grunt, stationed at Camp Pendleton CA., and in Okinawa 1959.
Would love to get in touch with some of the Marines and Sailors that,
were stationed at Treasure Island.
