YES: just to the east of those huge, double CASSON hall buildings.

Those were very old wood building from WW2 (called tender boxes)
I see dirt there now,via google earth.
Answers:

1969. Me ET3 NAVY guy.

they had fires in most, and then the new BEQ pair were built.

Casson Hall 1 and 2, (concrete STARs)like moving into RITZ it was.

and we moved there, (still standing. now shows on Google earth)
On 12-1-1969 (my photos are marked)WE MOVED that day.

I was first to move in , day 1 to CaSSON-North. have photos, , can post them.

the old fire trap wood buildings were torn down. soon after....
they burn down in 3 minutes, they told us. (they tested one...)
super dangerous. those old ww2 buildings were and lots of tobacco smokers, made this a tad crazy.

there was a MIL Prison there, and some bad guys, leaked out, broke out and started fires, and knifed one of my buddies on watch.(fire watch)
KIA, going to school, no kidding.... AT TI.

What else is missing from era 1969? lots.
the RADAR school just North of Casson hall North GONE.
As is the huge antenna farm for same , on this huge steel 100foot?
platform behind it, one SPS-40 there, in my photos... huge...

As is the whole ET naval schools command, buildings many, gone.
I have one photo of the South edge of the NSC ET school buildings.
called Branch 1:

the naval exchange.
and many other buildings missing.
I graduated and was sent to Japan. (to a DD, a real old ship, in bad condition)
All WW2 buildings there then were death traps, very old dry wood.
Most were ordered torn down for safety.
I spent a year there,and remember much,,,
This time was my best times, in the NAVY. School.
The rest I work hard to forget.
Happy trails and happy holidays.
Retired, now.
