The National Archives Branch in San Bruno contains the US Army Corps of Engineer archives including all the material related to the construction of Treasure Island. I referenced these materials when I wrote my recent book on the history of Treasure Island which is now available in stores or online (San Francisco's Treasure Island). The book contains many never before published photos of the Corps of Engineers during their construction efforts to form the island.
