I was also a member of the '54 toon. Don't remember marchlng on the tv show but did march in the State Field Comp that year. Went to the USS Renshaw DDE 499(homeported at Pearl harbour" for 2 yrs and then NAVCOMSTA Pearl for another 18 mos and out. Got back in the reserves in 65 and made one tour of duty to Vietnam in 68 and finally quit for good. Now live in Ark. I have a picture of the team taken in Salinas, CA summer of 54. If you have a copy of that picture I am in the back row on the right as you look at the picture. I later marched guidon before I became a shorttimer and finished school.
Was showing my granddaughter something about the team and ran across you site. Glad I did and hope to hear from you in the future
