I was in the RecSta 51-54. During that time the
Troop Ships were boarded at Fort Mason -- the men were
bused from TI to Fort Mason. There is probably an historian
at Fort Mason who would know where to find the info. Have
you tried the Navy Dept. in Washington, DC?
