Hey Ted -- What was the name of your group? I never missed a dance at the TI Teen Club! I also was in a group with my brother and some friends and we performed at the TI Teen Club. Our group was called (brace yourself for this) The Dark Light. No, really, that is the name we used. We lived on the Island 1966-1970 and it was my dad, Chief Bill Kerr, and another dad who got the building assigned for us to use as a Teen Club. I was there from the start -- even celebrated my 15th birthday there! Love to hear back from you, Peggy
: It is nice to hear about the Treasure teen club. My brother and I played with a group in the club back in 1967. We had pretty much a regular drummer and singer but at times others sat in to play with us. One time a drummer from a big group (Beach Boy's?, not sure anymore), sat in with us. He was a reservist doing some temporary duty. I remember the kids liked it. I wish we would have had more music but it is hard to do as we were going to ETA school. We were there though every Saturday as long as we could keep the gig.
