this school primed my mind for more electronics and then in 74 worked in silicon valley as tech for 15 years.
No digital electronics in the naval schools here, lots of tubes but industry lift them long ago. I went to work for Intel soon after.
this place was my best Naval experience,
I have old photos of this place. including the new halls.
i wish i could remember the names of the 2 new halls,
start shaped building , the were named for fallen hero's.
we were first ones to move in. what a shock, from fire traps ww2 barrakes to Airconditioned 2 man rooms.
