hello.
yes ,was in the ET school 69-70 52 weeks , extra for getting very sick. but loved every minute. Island views , school and night life.
was sent to a Destroyer, DD852.
lots of Vietnam action. Up rivers and plain guard at Yankee station.
I just retired today as an ET a member of THE IBEW .
My TI days of learning, paid off well for 39 years. real well.

: I was on the drill team from april to november in 1954. We won the state+ championship that summer. We also marched on the TV show "The Art Baker's You Ask For It". I went to the USS Luzon ARG 2 for sea duty. I was then transfered to the USS Current ARS 22. I was the only ET on board. We made two trips to the artic. Would like to hear from anyone. Del +
