I lived in 1131 F Gateview, I could see the Golden Gate & Alcatraz from my bedroom window. I was a member of the Explorers (Post 517) we camped & hiked all over CA. I went to Francisco Jr High in the city. had lots of fun there. 1969 to 1971.
: I lived there from '77 to '80 (I think). We lived at 1306c Gateview. I remember all the work being done to save the fountain mainly because my mother was "The Fountain Lady". She would walk over and pull weeds and pick up trash etc.... I loved it there also. My parents seemed to be involved in everything, there was such a community atmosphere. I have wonderful memories of TI. I want to go back before it turns into condos.
